Infusion RN

The outpatient infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices.
The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
