Your day-to-day:
Organizing and prioritizing daily work to ensure patient needs are met, and provider schedules run smoothly.
Recording patient demographic information and medical history.
Completing the patient intake process.
Assisting care providers during patient visits, including collecting vital signs and scribing for physicians.
Providing instructions to patients regarding diagnostic tests or procedures.
Preparing documentation for scheduled appointments/procedures.
Coordinating with patients, providers, and specialists to ensure care plans are followed.
Qualifications we are seeking:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA, CMA).
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with medical records systems preferred.
