The HR Specialist is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with all aspects of the implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures for Supreme Living programs.

Responsibilities:
o Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
o Assist HR Manager with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online, screening applicants, scheduling candidate interviews, and conducting reference checks.
o Maintain HR records including employee files in cooperation with the HR Manager.
o Coordinate logistics for new hire onboarding sessions and employee training sessions.
o Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports.
o Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
o Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
TRANSPORTATION:
o Uses personal vehicle to travel to agency sites and non-agency locations.
COMMUNICATION:
o Participates in staff meetings and in-services training.
o Consults with CEO and HR Manager when knowledge base in a given area needs to be expanded.
o Requests literature, in-service or orientation on a given topic.
o Demonstrates accountability regarding equipment and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and LICENSURE:
o An Associates Degree in HR-related field - 3-5 years' direct experience may be substituted.
Previous experience with Recruitment is highly desirable.
o Detail oriented and organized.
o Strong communication and customer service skills.
o Solid understanding of MS Office.
o Experience with applicant tracking database systems an asset.
o Meets health requirements, i.
e.
- flu vaccination, COVID vaccination and current booster, tb testing - per licensing requirements.
o Must demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
o Ability to read, research, analyze, and interpret technical information related to Human Resources.
o Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
o Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.
o Proficient in English.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
