Non-ExemptJob Purpose:
AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) Controller is responsible to maintain the AGV equipment running at all times.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Monitor AGV Conveyor to ensure is operational at all timesTroubleshoot any rejected loads for proper AGV put awayMonitor communications between GOLD (WMS) and EMS (AGV system)Report any issues with product on floor or with AGV s with faults at the floorContact the proper personnel for escalationEnsure all pallets are in acceptable shape to go thru the conveyorDirect personnel to place product on alternative location, if neededPerform other related duties in the department as assigned from time to time by the supervisorMinimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certificationsGood communications skillsDetail-oriented and excellent people skillsConduct him/her self in a constructive manner and must be able to be responsive to feedback from all.
Knowledge of warehouse operationsKnowledge of Microsoft ApplicationsKnowledge of GOLD STOCKMust be flexible to work weekends and nightsEducation and/or
Experience:
Strong English skills, reading, written and verbalStrong communication skills-will be dealing with many vendorsStrong problem solver, with systems and operationsExcellent follow up and follow through skillsComputer Skills:
Experience in Microsoft Windows, Office software, Microsoft Visio.
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to interact with all levels of management.
Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
Ability to make independent decisions as needed.
Solve problems with no directionsDemonstrate ability to examine the logical relationships between conclusions and their supporting assertions.
Must be able to draw conclusions from facts and evidence.
