Weekend Ward and Staffing Clerk
Our Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a part-time, weekend ward/staffing clerk. This position provides customer service to our visitors and public, provides staffing for the facility as needed and completes various administrative tasks. This position works Saturday and Sundays, 6am - 6pm.
Duties include
Answer the telephone on the units and relaying messages to appropriate personnel
Address staffing needs and resolve as appropriate. Communicate with weekday Staffing Coordinator.
Retrieve resident information from chart holders
Laboratory and x-ray requisitions
File incoming documents/mail onto the chart holders
Post admissions, discharges, and transfers on the whiteboard
Complete daily census report, when assigned
Make copies of documents upon transfer of a resident to the hospital
Provide directions to residents, families, and general public
Stock health information forms in the form drawers at the nursing stationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
