Recreation Aide II - Summer Day Camp and Playground Pals Programs

The Recreation Aide II is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the day camp program and will work at one of three elementary schools within the North Thurston Public School District. These positions will work 20-40 hours per week from approximately June 22, 2015 through August 14, 2015, with additional hours for program planning/setup, and staff training.
We offer a wide variety of youth programs, including day camps during school breaks, a summer lunch program, and a summer playground pals program where free lunch is served along with games and great activities.
Summer Day Camp:
We offer a fun and safe day camp experience for youth, ages 6 to 12, during the summer and over school breaks. Weekly camps are theme-oriented and packed with creative and healthy outdoor activities, including field trips, swimming, sports, group games, arts and crafts, special guests, and events.
Playground Pals:
This program is offered in conjunction with the Summer Lunch Program. Children ages 2 to 12 can come for lunch and then stay for Playground Pals (children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult). On site staff provide structured play and craft activities, along with special guests, and events.
This is a continuous recruitment and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis. This recruitment will remain continuous until all positions have been filled.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
